Our price of the excursion to Chichen Itzá + Ek-Balam is very competitive compared to other providers of the same excursion.

Please remember that we don't offer this tour every day of the week, as it's not as popular as our classic excursions to Chichen Itza, so it's important to send a message to check that service exists on the particular day that you want to take the tour.

At this time this tour is not well known, therefore it's not in great demand it is a very interesting excursion, the price is higher than normal excursions to Chichen Itza, as the groups are smaller, the price is a bit more expensive.

In 90% of cases, the meeting place will be in the lobby of your hotel, if there is no pickup at your hotel or condominium, we will designate a nearby and central location where we will meet.

We will try as hard as possible to pick you up at the lobby of your hotel, but sometimes there are hotels that are far from our normal routes or that don't have access from the road, and in very special cases there are hotels that in their eagerness to pressure their guests to contract the excursions with the lobby agencies prevent the passage of external operators to the lobby of these hotels.

Here we try to explain that, just as there are things included there will also be things that are not included, this is a list of what's not included based on our experience of years visiting the archaeological zone of Chichen Itza.

We have been doing this for years and we already know the fine points that we have to make clear before starting the excursion.

It's not intended to be a complete list of what's not included, the most important things that we have discovered based on trial and error and where misinterpretations can be made, so again this list is not complete since each person is different, but follow this simple rule. The heat in Chichen Itza area at certain times of the year is very intense, so coming prepared for it is always a good idea, bottled water, comfortable shoes, hats or caps are welcome at all times.

It is also important to remember that it's your responsibility to bring everything necessary for the proper functioning of your body. If you are under medical orders, or taking any medications, if you have any food allergies or have a very strict diet, it's your responsibility to bring your medications, or special food, we are not responsible for the variety of food that is on the menu for that specific day.

We have almost all forms of payment available, the most common such as credit / debit cards are active at all times, but the most common way is to pay in cash on the day of the excursion. We save on bank commissions or percentages for administrative expenses however, it is your decision on how you want to pay. Please let us know how you are going to pay so that we are prepared for it.

There are two very important things that we have to make clear.

1. We reserve the right to modify the order we visit the places included in the tour, this is always done in order to preserve the integrity of the excursion. For example, if there are crowds in Chichen Itza we can do Ek-Balam first, so that way when we get to Chichen there are no longer so many people and it will be more pleasant for our guests. The order of the visit doesn't alter the result of the tour. We'll visit for the same amount of time, only in a different order.
2. We'll try to comply with this itinerary, but sometimes things do not go as planned (flat tires, mechanical damage, accidents on the road, etc.), if necessary, we'll make the necessary adjustments in times to fulfill what was promised, do not worry it's very unlikely that will happen.

Our advisers advised us not to put the itinerary of the excursion as it would be counterproductive, however, one of the guiding principles of our company is the truth.

We'll never lie to you to make a sale; we have an ethic and we are professionals and passionate about our excursions. We'll always be truthful, one thing is the duration of the excursion, it's a long excursion which will take the whole day. Don't let that intimidate you, time flies by when you’re having fun and remember that we'll visit a new wonder of the modern world. The safety of our guests is one of our highest priorities, providing a safe visit is fundamental for us, so there are certain restrictions, or things that have to be taken into account when taking our Chichen Itza + Ek-Balam excursion.

• To apply the payment on the day of the excursion it is only for groups of less than 4 people. If you make two reservations we cannot guarantee that you will go on the same transportation
• Should not have circulatory problems the drive from the Riviera Maya to Chichen is a 2 hour drive
• In Chichen Itza there are uneven gravel paths, so it is not recommended for wheelchairs
• You must know how to swim in order to enter the cenote (otherwise it is recommended that you wear a life jacket)
• Should be well physically and mentally
• Under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
• Have the ability to walk short distances
• It is strictly prohibited to climb the ruins in Chichen Itza
