"I have always found the Mayan civilization interesting, but now I find it fascinating. You will find out things in this new wonder of the world that will amaze you. For example, the Mayan knowledge of astronomy, physics and acoustics. Incredible! Highly recommend it! Me and my family took a tour there and it was very hot but it is 100% worth it. The tour was purchased directly in Chichen Itza Tour, so they picked us up at the hotel and the guide was a Mayan guy with a lot of knowledge of the country, fully fluent in English, Spanish and Mayan tongue. The cenotes within the park are not pretty, for that I recommend the one in Ikkil. Our tour included the buffet lunch which was very good Mexican food."

"We combined the trip with a visit to Ikkil cenote nearby. It was a great idea as well since it was great to cool off after the hot day visiting the ruins."

"It's literally one of the seven wonders of the world, so not much to say! On our trip we preferred the ruins at Teotihucan and Monte Alban but they are still very impressive."

"Enjoyed a fantastic excursion to Chichen Itza and Ik Kil cenote afterwards and visited a Mayan village too."

"We booked through Chichen Itza Tour who were fantastic, the tour guide was great. We done chichen itza, ik kil cenote and Valladolid. The day is very long and in chichen itza there is very little shade when exploring the ruins. I had three children under 11 and it was too much for them in the May heat. There are lots of stalls selling souvenirs all along the entrance and ruins. There are toilets, shops, cafes and a Starbucks also."

"Even during the hottest time of the year, this trip was worth the price & travel time. It's rare to see such a unique historical location."
